Yes — each  DineFate event is capped to a number of 8 people to ensure we can all fit into the restaurant.

Please only RSVP if you’re sure you can attend.

If you RSVP and don’t show up without canceling, you may lose your RSVP spot for the next event. DineFate is an experience that’s meant to stay fair for everyone.

• The DineSpin VIP pass is valid for 1 DineFate event, and only for the next upcoming event after online purchase. If the event gets canceled by the organizer, your DineSpin VIP Pass will not carry over automatically. In this case, you’ll need to RSVP again and request a new VIP Pass for the next event.

• All DineSpin VIP payments are made in cash on the day of every event. There is no online payment required during the registration. This keeps things simple and flexible — just bring your €5 and we’ll take care of the rest at the official event.

• A successful RSVP on the Meetup page is required to be eligible for a DineSpin VIP purchase. Please note: If any RSVP attendee has purchased DineSpin VIP, the DineSpin VIP Wheel will be used first at any official DineFate event. The restaurants added by the organizer on behalf of the VIP attendees will be included in the VIP wheel prior to the event. If none of those restaurants are selected by the spins — or if no VIPs are present — the selection will revert to the General Wheel, which will ultimately determine the official restaurant for the group.

• If you’ve successfully RSVP’d, you have until 1 day before the official event to purchase DineSpin VIP so that your chosen restaurant is included in the DineSpin VIP wheel and that the VIP wheel will be used at the event.

• If several VIPs attend the same event, each VIP is entitled to three spins. If the wheel selects a restaurant submitted by a VIP, that VIP moves into the winner category. If only one VIP’s restaurant is chosen, the group will go to that restaurant. If multiple VIPs have their restaurants selected, those winners will each receive three additional spins, competing against one another until a final winning restaurant is determined. If no winner is selected by fate, the decision will fall back to the General Wheel — just like in any standard event.
